For the third consecutive year, Zekiah has earned the right to be in the Inc 5000. This year they have earned the ranking of 3484. The Inc 5000 is Inc. Magazine's annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Zekiah shares the list with companies such as Intuit, Microsoft, Jamba Juice and Oracle.

Brianna Bowling, President of Zekiah Technologies, Inc., received the CEO of the Year award at the tenth annual Leading Edge Awards held on June 23, 2010. The award was presented by the Corporate Center at the College of Southern Maryland who hosted the Leading Edge awards along with the College of Southern Maryland, Calvert County Department of Economic and Community Development, Charles County Technology Council, Patuxent Partnership, and the Small Business Development Center for the Southern Region of Maryland.

Zekiah announced today an award to perform software services for the Global Synchronization Tool for the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC). Work will be performed in Zekiah’s La Plata, MD office, Dahlgren, VA office and on site in Norfolk, VA. The contract is for one year with four option years.

Zekiah announced today the award of a Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract by the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) in support of Space and Missile Defense Initiatives Support III (SMDIS III) as a team member of SGIS. The total potential contract ceiling is $450 Million over a period of five years.

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. began a formal internship program for the summer of 2009.

In 2007 James Waltz, a La Plata High School student, convinced Zekiah Technologies, Inc. to hire him as a summer intern. Mr. Waltz impressed the technical staff at Zekiah so much that the following winter break and summer he was hired again and was able to begin work on a Navy contract. Following a year at Shenandoah University, Mr. Waltz was hired as a permanent full-time staff member and continues work on various Department of Defense contracts.

Brianna Bowling, owner and founder of Zekiah Technologies, has been named “Soar Like an Eagle Entrepreneur of the Month” for December 2008. The award is sponsored by the Charles County Board of Commissioners.

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. announces that Marshall Worthey joined its staff as Vice President – West Division. Operating out of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mr. Worthey will be responsible for business development, program management and staffing of Zekiah’s system integration, intelligence, geospatial and other business operations in the Western United States.

Zekiah Technologies has promoted Ms. Meredith Mayes from Associate to Senior Engineer. As a Senior Engineer she will be responsible for establishing technical standards and evaluating new technologies and approaches. As a senior staff member she will use her expertise in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to mentor junior technical staff, assist with product development and enhance Zekiah’s GIS service offerings.

Zekiah Technologies, Inc., is pleased to announce they are a partner of the winning team primed by Raytheon to provide Geographic Information analysis and systems integration support to the Department of Defense (DoD) Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO). Zekiah was hand picked by Raytheon because of their extensive experience providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions to the Mission Assurance Division, NSWC in Dahlgren, VA and the Counter Narco Terrorism Office. The five-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract begins August 24, 2007 and ends August 23, 2012.
